MONIKA SCHUELKE, PH.D.

monikaDr. Monika Schuelke is a licensed clinical psychologist who has been a part of the CPS team since 2007. A Florida native, Dr. Schuelke attended Dade Christian School from kindergarten through 12th grade. She pursued her undergraduate degree in psychology at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois and then returned to South Florida to spend 10 years in Christian education at her alma mater. During that time, she embarked on her graduate studies and completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Nova Southeastern University. Although her expertise is in child and adolescent psycho-educational testing and diagnostics, she has individual and group psychotherapy experience and has spent time researching the impact of trauma on children and adolescents and the connections between abuse, eating disorders, and self-injurious behaviors. During her time at CPS, she has utilized her background in education and her knowledge of how children learn to develop close working relationships with multiple schools in the community.
