Dr. Silverman has over ten years experience providing neuropsychological and educational evaluations to children and adolescents both in the public and private sectors. Dr. Silverman received her Doctorate in School-Clinical Psychology at the Ferkauf Graduate School at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Silverman completed her post-doctorate training at New York University Hospital in Pediatric Rehabilitation.

Dr. Silverman has been in private practice in New York and Florida conducting evaluations and providing individual and group therapy to children and adolescents.  Dr. Silverman has worked in the Miami-Dade County School System as the Coordinator of Traumatic Brain Injury Services.

As an outcome of Dr. Silverman's involvement in assessment and treatment with special needs populations, she has become recognized as a regional expert in the diagnosis and treatment of Autism and related disorders, Learning Disabilities and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.
